The MACK will present a Needlework Expo on June 28 from 10-4 PM. It will feature handmade pieces of art. The Expo is centered around the beautiful quilt donated by the Savannah Lakes Quilters Group.  The emphasis is to appreciate artisans. This year will be directed toward the creations (predominately but not exclusively to) women throughout time have labored lovingly over.  Weddings will come into play in that “Hope” chests were filled, before the day, with a woman’s dreams and wishes being etched in beautiful works of art.  The idea is to bring to life old, sometimes forgotten, skills employed in times gone by.

Having exhibitors demonstrating their needlework skills is a high priority.

The emphasis is to appreciate artisans. Artisans with hand made creations related to textiles or arts are invited to be vendors at this affair.

Cost is $10 (there are some electrical outlets and tables available for an extra $5 and on a first registration basis.)  Artisans should register at The MACK before Monday, June 23rd. Please call 864-852-3216 for information.  It is suggested artisans primarily cater to a 'mid price' range customer.
