Juror - Tom Bryan
Tom is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and a graduate of Wufford College with majors in English Literature and Art History. he also performed graduate work at the University of Georgia's Cortona, Italy program.
since 1981, he has been with the SC Arts Commission, currently as Regional Coordinator for eleven counties in the Piedmont and Pee Dee regions. He also serves as Director for the Cultural of Visions Grant Program and Accessibility Program. Tom is also the past Program Director for roster of Approved Artists, Basic Salary Assistance Grant, the Mobile Arts Program and Arts-in-Prisons.
Previous experiences include interning at National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC; Curator of Art at Telfair Museum in Savannah, GA; Still photographer, SC ETV in Columbia, SC; Account Executive for Virginia newspaper; Proofreader for a political support group; manager of a photographic equipment and processing outlet; Self-employed photographer, fine art framing and residential construction contractor.
